We have used VCS Websites and Hugh’s helpful assistance to implement websites for five organisations I am associated with: Blended Fuel Solutions NZ; Nufuels; National Energy Research Institute; arnold.co.nz; and Jane Woodhall Fabric Artist. These are each based on VCS’s standard Drupal Content Management System which we have had customised from time to time for different applications as required.

Available & Responsive

I have had the pleasure of having Hugh Frostick design and support the websites for my real estate business and also for a Community Association website over a period of over 10 years.  Hugh has always been available and responsive to my requirements and helped me though the changes necessary to interface to the different data systems of my parent agencies. For the few problems that did arise with these interfaces, Hugh was able to resolve them quickly and efficiently, and even advised my suppliers of bugs from their own systems.  It was always good to know he was available whenever required.

Hugh always gives realistic project times and ensures his work is completed on time and to specifications. I have no hesitation in recommending VCS for creating websites and their ongoing development and support.

VCS Websites redeveloped our suite of websites back in early 2015 as part of our rebranding. The system they devised to run our five websites with shared resources in one code base with multiple domains has not only saved us on hosting costs, but also saved a large amount of duplicated data entry across all our websites.

In 2016 we needed to set up a conference delegate registration website very quickly, and Hugh came to the rescue as always. He also incorporated our aging bespoke project-mapping website into the suite with no fuss, adding numerous improvements over what we had that was so hard to maintain.

As well as providing good training to my staff, Hugh created short online help videos which we can refer back to.

All in all the whole process has been most satisfactory for us. Hugh is a very good listener for our needs, but also not shy to suggest new solutions to match the technologies available.
